Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly
Robert Half is looking for a competent Help desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.
• Prior Managed Service Provider Experience
• Great Customer Service
• Client would like someone LONG-TERM
• Remote but must be local to the Greater Tampa Bay area
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email.
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determine best solution based upon the issue and details provide by customers
• Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
• Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support when needed
• Provide accurate information on IT products or services
• Record events and problems and their resolution in ticketing system
• Manages client tickets and using team resources to ensure client satisfaction and ticket metrics are achieved
PREFERRED SKILLS
•   Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7-10)
•   Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
•   Experience using a ticketing and time management system
