TECO Energy is hiring Bilingual (English/Spanish) and non-bilingual Customer Service Professionals!
TECO Energy CSP’s earn $ 18.88 per hour with scheduled pay increases during paid training and beyond!
Bilingual (English/Spanish) CSP’s earn an additional $1.00 per hour differential upon completion of training/nesting! (While taking calls.)

What you already have…
• a valid high school diploma/GED
• two years of work experience in a customer related environment
• excellent phone, email & written communications skills
• basic working knowledge of MS Office applications & internet research skills
• passion for customer service
• a calm, level head, resilient and empathetic nature
• a desire to make a change in your work and excel

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• College degree in a relevant field, such as Business, from a regionally accredited institution.
• Prior successful customer service experience.
When you will be working and your work environment…
• 9:30 am – 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Contact centers are located in Ybor City and Plant City
• Our Contact Center core hours are 7:30 am – 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Future schedules may require working Saturday or Sunday with a day off midweek
• Occasional overtime hours are required, including weekends and holidays, during major weather events, storms, and other high call volume situations to help our customers
• Position requires extended time sitting and talking on the phone
What to expect and your commitment during your paid training & beyond…
• Training hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Training is a paid 8 weeks in class.
• You commit to & must be present every day and complete the entire training class along with meeting the performance and attendance standards defined during class orientation.  Tests to ensure your progress will be administered throughout training.
• After you successfully complete your training, you will be moved to your work schedule
• Your schedule is determined by business needs and seniority.
• New hires will work a daytime schedule that ends as late as 6:30 pm.
