Hiring Manager Comments Child Care Regulation Secretary Specialist OPS Position
Job title: Secretary Specialist OPS
Reporting to: Child Care Licensing Supervisor
Salary: $13/hr. with Benefits
Hours: 40 hours/Full Time
Location: 9393 N. Florida Ave, Suite 500, Tampa, FL 33612
Purpose of the position:
 The candidate will support the Child Care Regulation Department and the Department of Children and Families by handling administrative tasks (such as data entry, correspondence, filing, and scheduling appointments, managing and distributing information with the department. Other tasks will include but not limited to answering phones, taking memos, and maintaining files. This individual will also be in charge of sending and receiving correspondence, as well as greeting clients and customers.
 Support Child Care Regulation Management Team, Child Care Providers, and community members in need of information regarding Child Care Regulation.
 Perform a variety of complicated secretarial, administrative and office managerial duties.
 Coordinate monthly Provider Orientation Meetings with Child Care Providers. Coordinates the use of virtual platforms to continue to educate and support Child Care Professionals.
 Manages a variety of routine correspondence and disseminates these correspondences accordingly.
 Prepare and maintain reports/ logs for Administrative Complaint per Region's request. Maintains a multitude of tracking system to keep Regional Safety Program Manager, Family Services Counselor Supervisor and counselors informed of changes and amendments.

Spanish Speaking Preferred not required
Education: High School Diploma/3+ years of Relevant Experience in the field Office Work
