Full Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title : Department/Location : Storekeeper Galley – AQSC Fleet
Reports to: FLSA Designation/ WC Type / Safety Sensitive Position: Executive Chef/Provision Master Exempt / Jones Act / Safety Sensitive
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Storekeeper has responsibility for receiving, organizing, and distribution of inventory for all departments. This position is responsible for insuring all products are received in full, whole, undamaged and are compliant with all regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspection of all products received ensuring accuracy of quantity, quality and within department specifications
• Coordinate with Provision Master on timely pulling of internal requisitions and delivery of product to requisitioning departments
• Ensure all items leaving Provisions area are accounted for and internally requisitioned through
MXP
• Maintain organization of product and ensure that all Storage areas are always in full compliance with all company, United States Coast Guard and Federal Drug Administration rules and regulations always
• Participate in Department meetings when necessary
• Daily attention to all cost control systems
• Maintain compliance with the company grooming and uniform standards
• Assist as needed with inventories and orders
• Participate and ensure participation of all USCG mandated drills and emergency procedures as directed
• Actively participates in embarking duties such as loading, unloading, luggage carrying, etc., as needed
• Performs other duties if required since above stated describe only a regular working day and may not be inclusive of every task needed to achieve results
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Professional Certification(s) or License:
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) – if applicable, and/or ability to obtain and maintain
• Copy of DD214, if Veteran status

Skills & Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with varying deadlines
Experience:
• One to two years of experience in a position in a related field with similar duties and responsibilities
• Cruise industry experience preferred
Other:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests as mandated by the USCG including but not limited to pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident/incident testing.
