POSITION TITLE: PEDIATRIC PHYSICIAN
FLSA: EXEMPT
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the direct supervision of the Associate Medical Director, the incumbent is responsible for providing direct medical services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) Degree.
• Completed approved residency program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Board Certified)
• Florida licensed.
• CPR required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Provides direct health care to the general patient population, routine, acute, chronic and emergency care on-call.
• Serves as a Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric consultant to other providers.
• Supervises ARNP's and PA's as appropriate.
• Provides patient education.
• Actively participates in and promotes quality assurance program.
• Obtains hospital privileges in respective specialty.
• Responsible for updating License and DEA renewals
• Other duties as assigned.
