DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design new modules/functionality in partnership with SMEs and digest business requirements. Map the business processes to solutions understand them. Work with global team of developers, operational business SMEs and users. Work with the global team on building software solutions for the GPS data platform. Design and build highly available systems. Write mission critical software in the core technologies. Execute core java and spring boot micro-services. Create automated unit tests using flexible/open source frameworks and test-driven development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience as full stack developer, or related experience.
Skills Required: Experience adapting and delivering new and emerging Technology stacks. Demonstrated knowledge of T-shaped/full stack development for end-to-end complex engagements, which include interacting with business partners and other cross impacted service teams. Demonstrated knowledge of leadership and collaboration with team through various challenging and critical situations. Demonstrated knowledge of Apache Kafka. Demonstrated knowledge of Event Driven Microservices based solution. Demonstrated knowledge of REST based web services. Big Data working experience. Experience in multiple business domains. Demonstrated knowledge of Apache Storm. Experience working with Apache Cassandra database. Experienced developing Java/Spring based applications and services.
