Title Pharmacist Supervisor - Home Infusion
Position Summary Join the Coram CVS/specialty infusion services team as a Pharmacy Supervisor for Home Infusion, and be part of a dynamic team that supports a business that provides cost-effective solutions and high-quality patient care. This is an opportunity to lead a pharmacy team in a growing segment of healthcare, home infusion services. Assist patients receiving specialized and complex therapies administered in their homes.
Key responsibilities * Coordinate and direct activities of pharmacy personnel in the appropriate compounding, packaging and labeling of compounded sterile products ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. * Participate in performance improvement, recommending process changes in workflow and develop educational programs. * Assists in coaching, training and orientation of new employees. * Involved in the implementation of new clinical programs and or marketing activities to physicians, nursing agencies and referral sources. * Verify accuracy of dispensing, medical and laboratory data and required monitoring log data, including all quality assurance documentation. Obtain, interpret and evaluate all physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety and completeness. * Participate in patient evaluation for acceptance, product selection, device selection and supply management. * Check compounded sterile products, computer order-entry and manage the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
Required Qualifications * Registered Pharmacist with current license in the State of Florida.
* Additional licensure may be required in multi state service areas

Preferred Qualifications * Hospital Residency
One year related experience in an IV alternate site environment or equivalent is preferred.
Home infusion therapy or home infusion rotation experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in research or other areas of pharmacy.
Have and maintain a current CPR certification if in direct contact with patients.
Willingness to learn the clinical and business needs of Coram.
Education B.S. or doctorate of pharmacy degree
