**Description** The Associate VP of Payment Innovation supports the creation of new value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Associate VP of Payment Innovation is the leader of Humana's Direct Contracting Entity. The Associate VP of Payment Innovation requires an in-depth understanding of value based models, the ability to manage P&L, and ability to monitor the Value Based Contracting competitive environment. **Responsibilities** + Responsible for developing and piloting new and innovative value based provider payment models + Responsible for creating and implementing the strategic plan for Humana's Direct Contracting Entity. Management of Humana's DCE includes overall P&L responsibility, leading contracting efforts with participating and preferred providers, developing and managing beneficiary engagement programs, and collaborating across the enterprise to manage DCE performance. + Responsible for partnering with Value Based Strategies (VBS) analytics team to complete the build, analytics, design and enhancements of new value based programs + Initiate, plan, and frame-up highly visible projects and establish requirements while consulting and gaining commitment from key stakeholders + Communicate and collaborate across the enterprise as required to drive growth of new payment models **Essential** : + Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred + 5+ years of experience in Value Based provider relationships + 5+ years of P&L responsibility + 10+ years of experience in Managed Care + 10+ years of experience in Provider/Payer relationship management + Experience leading virtual teams **Additional Information** : + Job can be remote - United States **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
