We are looking for part-time/hourly enrichment coaches who are available M - F. In the Riverview/Brandon area. Do you enjoy working with kids ages 3 1/2 -9 years old? Are you passionate about early learning, technology skills, digital arts, robotics, coding, and S.T.E.A.M.? Our Techie Kids Club enrichment coaches help kids digitally prepare for their future!
About Techie Kids Club
Techie Kids Club is an educator-designed coding and robotics enrichment program that provides weekly classes to preschools throughout Florida.
Although the Techie Kids Club headquarters are located in Boca Raton, we are hiring across the state of Florida. Our teachers instruct an average of 4 classes a day to pre-existing schools enrolled in our enrichment program. If hired, you will be working at multiple locations in your area and also responsible for helping us grow our schools!
Job Description: We are seeking outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as technology enrichment coaches! You are an ambitious, creative, personable, tech-savvy person that is either a certified teacher or has previously taught in a preschool or daycare setting.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:
• Must have reliable transportation to drive between the different schools (mileage reimbursement is included)
• 4 or more years of teaching experience in a preschool, daycare, or elementary school setting
• 45 hours of training and certification through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) or Certified Early Learning Teacher (CDA)
• Prepare and gather the materials needed for each lesson in a timely manner
• Review curriculum and execute lesson plans
• Attend staff meetings and required training sessions/webinars as needed
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills to be able to manage 10-20 students at a time
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, with adults and children
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for transporting materials.
• Background check required
• Ability to make a positive impression on others and represent the Techie Kids Club brand well
Recommended Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bilingual is a PLUS!
• Passion working with children ages 3 -9 years old
• Familiar with early learning standards/domains
• Ability to present oneself and one's ideas with clarity, confidence, and poise
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, a can-do attitude, and ability to think on your feet!
• Proven leadership skills
• Tech-savvy - Understanding of technology, including software, programming, and hardware
• Previous experience using SMART boards, Promethean, and other interactive panels
