Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and manage the operational activities of the Service Desk Team to drive service delivery and meet SLA and manage expectations. Responsible for demand scheduling and quality assurance of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise team of supplemental workforce (contractors) to deliver service that meets end user expectations.
• Leads team members to develop knowledge and capabilities, not only to directly support their own roles, but also of BMS global processes and digital capabilities.
• Ensure that team’s KPIs are monitored, actions are taken, evaluated accordingly and delegated properly;
• Ensures alignment with the global Enterprise Service Center processes and technology models.
• Pro-actively works to anticipate user needs and works to devise innovative solutions that meet those needs while aligning with global process models.
• Manage relationship with Staffing Partner for supplemental workforce
Requirement
• BS/BA Degree or Five years of demonstrated experience managing people or leading matrix teams.
• Demonstrated critical/logical thinking skills.
• Ability to orchestrate and manage escalations in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team to a budget, and to plan allocation of internal and external resources to achieve successful outcomes.
• Ability to understand and explain the organizational implications of changes in technology.
• A demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team during periods of repeated change.
• ITSM experience preferred but not required.
