Quality Carriers is hiring an Operations Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Tampa, FL
Essential Functions:
• The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating/tracking trailers in and out of Mexico. Work with terminals to ensure proper rental/spotting charges are captured. Assist terminals and dispatch with locating trailers at the border.
• Ensure operational requirements for new/existing business are captured and communicated to all parties. Development of SOP’s regarding Mexico/Border Operations.
• Assist Sales with commercial needs and data request.
Skill Requirements:
Minimum Education Necessary:
• HS Diploma required/ 4 year degree preferred
• 2-5 years transportation experience, chemical bulk preferred
Required Skills:
• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Travel to Mexico (when needed) required
• Experience with Freight Forwarders and Brokers – preferred
• Custom procedures and documents between US and Mexico - preferred
