Your Opportunity
The Accounting team plays a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing accurate and timely billing fee calculations and invoices.  We are seeking a Specialist, Accounting to join the Accounting team to assist with the monthly and termination billing fee calculations, quarterly preparation of invoices, requesting fees for accounts, assist with remaining vendor payments, assist with PMAT Billing project and overall SMA billing within Wasmer Schroeder Strategies (WSS).  The Specialist, Accounting will also be an integral part of the broader team by not only ensuring accuracy of work, but also through open communication and collaboration with a dynamic and genuinely inspired team.
What you are good at
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain client accounts in accounting software.
• Monthly billing fee calculations and accruals.
• Billing fee calculations and invoice preparation for terminating accounts.
• Quarterly invoice generation.
• Quarterly and termination fee requests from multiple sources.
• Maintain outstanding fees.
• Reconciliation of payment backup details.
• Assist in providing estimated monthly revenue for reporting.
• Assisting in PMAT Billing project and overall SMA billing.
• Assist with submitting and processing of vendor payments for WSS.
• Collaborate on projects with multiple departments.
• Quickly learn and implement new software and technology as needed.

• Enjoyment from working in a fast paced, multi-tasking and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to effectively work in both large and small groups as well as independently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other industry related software.
• Experience and/or Education related to the finance industry a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Advent Portfolio Exchange software a plus.
• Knowledge of Vestmark and Redi2 software a plus.
• General knowledge of accounting principles a plus.
