The Compl Bus Control Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Responsibilities:
• Participates from inception through implementation, in cross-functional or cross business issues designed to ensure business compliance with laws, regulations, and policy requirements across key/complex risk levels.
• Utilizes Issue Management processes and project management methodology from the initiation, planning, control requirements, execution, and closing phases of each issue; end results may include improved productivity, technology, processes, cost savings, and controls.
• May support any area of the business (organizationally, regionally or product-wise) from an issue/project perspective; regular engagement with Senior Business Level Officers, Legal, Risk, and Compliance regarding complex matters.
• Initiates and develops relationships with others throughout the business unit and the company in order to identify and understand business needs
• Implement solutions to improve effectiveness and results
• Ensure a culture of accountability, integrity and respect
• Works issues/projects as assigned to support improvements
• Identify and analyze escalated problems and provide guidance for resolution

Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of control and/or project experience

Summary
Records Management is a risk management activity that is regulated by governments and mandated by Citi Policies, standards, and mandates. The ICG Records Management Program Office operates as a global facilitator and independent centralized risk control utility for all ICG businesses.
The role will focus on the regulatory execution of key iniatiatives pertaining to recordkeeping such as SEC Security Based Swaps, Data Privacy (CCPA, GDPR), SEA 17a-3 / 17a-4 and Dodd Frank requirements . This role will also operate as a global facilitator to ensure compliance with Citi Records Management Policy.
The employee will work very closely with Compliance, Corporate Records Management and Business/Functional areas to make certain the firm remains compliant with these external rules addressing any changes to rules. They will serve as a stretegic advisor providing consulting support for all aspects of the Citi Records Management Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
The position holder will be responsible for some or all of the following:
• Support the organization’s strategy, promote efficiency, and help ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Design & maintain metrics & presentations for senior management reporting and escalation
• Identify and document issues, perform root cause analysis, oversee remediation efforts, and recommend improvements as needed.
• Partner across functions on continuous improvement of processes and streamline operational workflows
• Track key actions from meetings, provide weekly updates & project summaries, and maintain related documentation
• Serve as strategic advisor by being the primary interface to the business providing consulting support for all aspects of the program
• Deliver training and awareness to empower business to manage their records commitments.
Knowledge/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in financial services (audit, controls, or similar functions a plus).
• Proficient in metrics and reporting.
• Working knowledge of corporate structures and general business practices.
