Full Job Description Due to continued growth, Allied American USA is seeking a qualified, professional Claims Administrative Associate to assist with quality claim services for our customers and clients. You will perform administrative functions relating to daily and catastrophe claim operations, enter claims data with accuracy, and provide technical support to specific client programs. The ideal candidate will be a team player with creativity, empathy, good interpersonal skills and a willingness to help.
What You’ll Do:
· Monitor claims inbox for Incoming e-mails, and distribute and file as appropriate
· Receive and enter initial Notice of Loss information
· Analyze information and proofread data for accuracy
· Maintain accurate and complete files, updating the claims system daily
· Correspondence including acknowledgement letters
· Respond to specific client requests
· Acts as primary contact with callers; direct calls to the appropriate contact or escalate to specialist
· Maintain superior level of customer service
· Maintain a favorable and positive working relationship with internal and external clients
· Participate in special projects and perform other duties as requested
· Contribute to adjuster recruitment efforts
What It Takes:
· High School Diploma, required
· Associate’s Degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred
· Proficiency with MS Office including Excel & Word; must be a competent typist
· Demonstrated skills in the use of computer software applications
· 2-4 years job related experience, preferably with an insurance carrier or independent adjusting firm
· Ability to work independently
· Effectively manage changing priorities and multi-task
· Strong analytical skills and attention to details
· Maintain a high level of accuracy
· Ability to work after-hours and weekends when volume demands are increased
· Familiarity with insurance claims processing, preferred
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong customer service skills; friendly interaction with internal and external sources
