Skills Required:
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Java programming
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Unix Shell Scripting
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle database SQL
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows PowerShell scripting
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with middle-tier technologies such as WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, etc
• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
Work Description:
• Support level activities (70% time)
• Responsible for monitoring and responding to open tickets submitted through an incident management system
• Application-level support
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Calling and discussing issues with store personnel
• Root cause analysis
• Maintaining and documenting root cause through issue resolution
• Consulting with the software vendor and internal users
• Incident Reporting
• Generate reports for trend analysis for frequent review
• Participate in on call rotation
• 24/7 on call rotation that is held one week at a time
• Software release analysis / testing estimated (15% time)
• In cases where the issue is not due to a vendor product's software, develop necessary SDLC documentation, deliverables and software to implement a permanent resolution.
• In cases where the issue is due to a vendor product, work with the vendor in creating a support tickets, follow it through it's lifecycle and ensure that it is properly prioritized as a defect and to eventual installation.
• Documentation maintenance (15% time)
• Maintaining technical documentation and procedures
• Documenting processes and monitoring application performance metrics
• Maintaining change control documentation
