Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and career-oriented Billing Trainer and Systems Specialist to join our growing team at our Central Business Office in Tampa. This individual will contribute to the entire revenue cycle department and report directly to the Regional AR Director.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Revenue Cycle team to establish best practices for modifying and improving system including billing workflow process improvement and end user development.
Develops and maintains tools and tips to achieve optimal user efficiency and proficiency.
Audits and reviews new tools and processes that have been implemented. Provides observations and recommendations in a proactive manner to management regarding strategies to improve user satisfaction and increase efficiencies.
Observes and assesses user skills, coaches individuals, and provides individual training to enhance user billing proficiency.
Perform root cause analysis, mine for improvement opportunities, and collaborate with internal/external team members to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and automation.
Qualifications:
5+years of eClinicalworks and Athena preferred
3+years of Billing experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player
Ability to work independently
Ability to Multi-Task
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent Customer service skills
Extensive Computer skills
Medical terminology and understanding
Must be willing to travel as needed
