Full Job Description MILLWRIGHT:
· Troubleshoot, replace or overhaul damaged parts or adjust clearances of moving parts.
· Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools and micrometers
· Connect power unit to machines or steam piping to equipment, and test unit to evaluate
· Repair and lubricate equipment and machinery
· Craft and install equipment, machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
· Signal crane operator to lower units to bedplate, and align unit to centerline.
· Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
· Use hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks to move machinery
· Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit and bolt parts, such as side and deck plates, jaw plates, and journals
· Level bedplate and establish centerline, using straightedge, levels, and transit.
· Shrink-fit bushings, sleeves, rings, liners, gears, and wheels to specified items
· Disassemble machinery and equipment for shipment to installation site, usually performing installation and maintenance work as part of team.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Technical knowledge and experience in installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining heavy equipment and industrial machinery
· Precision measuring and drawing interpretation
· Reliable transportation

We provide shop and field service to our customers and troubleshoot, install, remanufacture, or design fluid power systems and components. Our shop capabilities includes full machining and fabrication and the ability to remanufacture and test equipment for our customers. Some industries that we serve include: marine, mining, manufacturing, fertilizer and chemical, food and beverage, and metal processing.
