Under the direct supervision of the Shop Manager, the Trailer Mechanic is responsible for performing and/or assisting in the periodic maintenance and repair of semi trailers in compliance with company schedules.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, hours may vary (day shift).
The benefit package for this position includes a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid vacation, and health/dental/vision insurance. Starting pay is based on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Trailer maintenance tasks include (but are not limited to) trailer repairs, fixing doors, replacing door panels, changing tires, fixing flats, and replacing lights. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 75 pounds.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
