Duties
• Performs all tasks associated with preparing plasma pheresis machines for successful daily collection of human plasma.
• Ensures adequate level of supplies are available to set-up plasma pheresis machines without delay.
• Monitors the safety and care of donors during the plasma pheresis process.
• Disconnects the donor upon completion of collection process.
• Creates a positive donor experience to encourage return donations
• Calibrates equipment per schedules outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshoots as needed.
Qualifications
• High school diploma required
• Phlebotomy certification or experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Computer literate
• Performs work while standing
