Job Summary
In accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Tampa General, provides leadership to managers and professional team members which may include the operational performance of multiple sections, modalities, or programs. Assist in the development of departmental/function plans, including business, operational, service, and/or organizational priorities. Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives. May also be responsible for functional or operational results through work of others but without formal reporting relationship. (e.g., management of outsourced team members). Responsible for operational execution of ambulatory strategic initiatives that expand TGH’s ambulatory footprint. Provides oversight of patient care activities within various ambulatory locations and multidisciplinary programs.
Responsibilities include:
· Facilitating the operations of a facility level-function.
· Implements clinic workflow processes to ensure consistent service delivery, quality patient outcomes and overall patient, provider and team member satisfaction
· Preparation and submission of operational budget recommendations for facility-level function for approval; revises as appropriate. Monitors assigned budget(s) and adheres to budget and productivity guidelines.
· Selects, orients, and trains new team members. Ensures competence of assigned team members and compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policy, and performance requirements. May assist in defining position requirements.
· Builds and fosters collaborative relationships with other departments/service-lines within the organization as well as with external partners to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives, products, and services
· Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis; forecast requirements, analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions.
· Develops and implements ongoing quality and operational process improvements through the demonstration of quantifiable clinical and/or operational outcomes, safety management and operational efficiency. Creates updates and maintains operational metrics and analytics reporting process including the communication of such metrics and analytics.

· Demonstrated application of management theory and practice including systems analysis, financial and human resource management, organizational development, planning, marketing and governmental regulations

Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
•
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business (MBA) or related field preferred.
•
Six (6) years progressive experience in healthcare setting with at least three (3) of those years in Lead or Supervisory role.
•
Minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership experience.
•
Management experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred.
