OUTPATIENT COUNSELOR - EMPLOYEE ASSISTANT PROGRAM Allied Health Hours: M-F 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Variable Hours - Full-time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: OH 2013-75B - 40022A
Job Summary Provides assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and education services for patients treated on an outpatient basis. # Job Responsibilities Provides outpatient individual and family counseling. Systematically and continually assesses the patient#s physical and mental condition in collaboration with the patient/family. Identifies and refers patients to appropriate community resources as needed. Provides educational sources for individuals and client groups. Qualifications Master#s degree or higher in Psychology required upon hire OR Master#s degree or higher in Clinical Social Work required upon hire OR Master#s degree or higher in related field required upon hire A minimum of 2 years# relevant experience required Psychologist - Licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Kentucky/ upon hire required upon hire OR LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Kentucky required upon hire OR LPCC - Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kentucky required upon hire OR Therapist - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Kentucky required upon hire AND BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position OR Heartsaver CPR AED required within 90 days of employment in this position Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
