• Client Service Representative (Assoc Analyst) is a developing professional role which integrates in-depth specialty knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices; demonstrates good understanding of how the team uses resources (internal/external) in order to provide excellent client service to our clients. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to communicate over the phone and/or email potentially complex/sensitive information related to the market, regulations and/or procedures. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams which in turn impacts the service we provide as an organization to our internal/external clients.
Responsibilities: • Effectively communicate with team members, management, business partners, executing firms and external clients
• Provide high quality level of service with a Compliance and Control mindset
• Daily reconciliation of shares and cash breaks for multiple clients in domestic and international markets
• Identify and clear exceptions on a pre-settlement and fails basis through pro-active contact with clients and executing brokerage
• Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements
• Monitoring status of aged breaks via reporting and frequent follow-up
• Exercise sound judgement regarding the proper reconciliation of shares and cash positions
• Ensure client trades are booked timely for reporting purposes
• Participate in and/or lead projects as assigned
• Coordinate and support training for new staff
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Qualifications:
• 2-5 years relevant experience
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, problem solving skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Education:
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
