The Director, Growth Partners develops and oversees the local market growth strategies and community outreach. Responsibilities include leading and developing global marketing campaigns, and developing customized local campaigns and programs to support providers and clinics growth. This role is responsible for meeting local market patient and membership goals. Provide operational and administrative support to leadership and executing initiatives and reaching deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive growth through a thoroughly professional consultative approach to providers, be able to identify opportunities and deliver effective practice growth and retention strategies through multiple sales distribution channels. Develop and execute strategic provider growth consulting process and plans
• Align with corporate Marketing Leadership by advising climate of market conditions, current trends, and issues and concerns in order to help facilitate informed decision making as well as resolve technical, operational and organization problems outside of own team
• Develop territory management and growth plans, creative problem-solving regarding growth strategies and activities to consistently meet or exceed annual growth goals
• Provide local market perspective to health plans, network and market operations, and clinic operations to enable strategies, programs and allocation of central resources
• Use voice of customer, analytical process and creative problem solving to identify gaps and opportunities to develop local provider plans that meet growth and retention goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with local health plan partners, leaders and agents as well as community leaders to collaborate on growth strategies
• With input from market, health plan, and WellMed regional leadership, design strategic marketing and campaign plans to materially increase membership numbers in targeted regions/markets/zones
• Accountable for marketing strategies based on growth objectives, including input on concept, identifying collaterals, media placement input, timelines and budget/ROI
• Ensure strategic and tactical plans meet Brand, Legal and Compliance regulations and guidelines in the planning and execution of events and sales activities
• Achieve growth targets by successfully orienting, training, and managing performance of growth partners planning, monitoring, and appraising results
• Develop, manage, socialize and report on growth forecasts and results to local market management teams
• Provide leadership to marketing team within market to ensure consistent delivery of services to market
• Collaborate with WellMed Corporate Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation and provide in- market/territory support for team as they generate leads and coordinate with health plan partners or sales agents for growth. Work with internal Brand, Creative, Communication and Digital teams to develop local campaigns
• Lead and schedule meetings with local team and leadership to review metrics and strategy status
• Ensure correct usage of Contact Relationship Management (CRM) (currently using SalesForce) and other department applications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.  (4 years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
• 6 years of experience with sales and business development with at least 5 years in a management capacity
• Marketing, communications, and/or sales experience within a health care environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects with tight deadlines while playing close attention to details of all deliverables
• Experience executing the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including targeting market sectors, features-benefits-solutions selling, cost per response, cost per conversion, etc.
• Leadership and management experience (including team-building and coaching experience)
• Understanding of industry best practices, and a good command of the English language
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and internet research
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

• Experience with CMS guidelines
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
• Excellent interpersonal skills, high energy and enthusiasm, with ability to thrive in a collaborative, high performance and action oriented team environment and help resolve any impasses during a project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget
• Detail-minded, results oriented with positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality
