As Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll lead a team of recruiters to help us successfully recruit for a broad spectrum of roles. You will support the business’ growth while maintaining our culture and quality standards.
You’ll be an integral part of the Optum Care Delivery recruiting team and will contribute specifically in the areas of performance monitoring, reporting and analysis, and recruiter training. You’ll do this through team member development and implementation of sourcing strategies, the building of candidate pipelines and enhancing our processes. Together we’ll research and implement practices that allow us to attract the strongest talent.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership:
• You’ll manage a team of recruiters, balancing their workloads, helping them prioritize their workload and supporting them in the recruitment and hiring processes
• You’ll coach your team and hiring teams to provide the best experience and drive continuous improvement in the recruitment and hiring processes
• You’ll develop short and long term goals for your team and ensure their success in meeting those objectives
• You’ll partner with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs, challenges, and action plans; and develop strategies for engaging, and bringing on board the best candidates
• Together we’ll develop sourcing strategies and create pipelines for our hard to fill roles
• You’ll stay on the pulse of emerging hiring trends and employment law changes and advise about any improvements or adjustments we should make
Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis, Training:
• You’ll use recruiting dashboards to help us track progress towards our recruiting goals and keep teams accountable for their work, recruiters and hiring managers alike
• You’ll share updates on market and talent trends with leaders
• We will also use the reports to lower our cost per hire and attract better quality candidates
• You’ll conduct training for recruiters, hiring managers and team members to elevate our sourcing, interviewing, the offer process, referrals and overall candidate experience

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Capital
• Experience building strong relationships with various stakeholders
• Experience recruiting high volume Operations and Corporate Functions positions

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing a high performing team including team/people management
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience leveraging data to drive decisions and identify trends
• Taleo ATS experience

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
