We have an immediate opening for a Network /System Administrator who will work closely with software developers, database administrators, project managers, etc. to support a fast past software development team. The candidate will provide continuous integration, continuous delivery, and IT infrastructure support for a standalone software development environment. The development environment supports a full stack Angular, .NET web application development.
This fast-paced, high-demand effort, residing on virtualized Windows Servers and DevOps software repository will be the candidate's primary responsibility. Our federal customer offers an opportunity for talented, motivated individuals to create applications used at the highest levels of the executive government.

Experience with DoD level policies, processes, and procedures with regard to handling sensitive information.
•
Maintain references, record documents and information from a variety of sources related to providing support.
•
Experience with Active Directory management, account provisioning, and security requirements for classified networks.
•
Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GITHub software development repositories and their pull/push requests processes, CI/CD, configuration management processes, etc.
•
Experience with Jabber or other communications services that support software engineers with their development and communication processes required for a fast-paced software development effort.
•
Experience with data log reduction and analysis tools such as Splunk or other data log reduction/analysis tools supporting the security and integrity of the networked environment.
•
Experience with Windows Software Update Services (WSUS) and it's deployment, and operations and maintenance.
•
Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server and its deployment, and operations and maintenance.
•
Experience maintaining virtual environments supporting MS SQL Server 2008 or higher, and other like services
•
SQL Server database administration, backup, restore, performance monitoring, SSIS, SSRS
•

•
Experience with server and network data backup and recovery tools, processes, and procedures.
•
Experience with network architectures and maintenance.
Education/Experience:
•
BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 5+ years of experience
