Full Job Description Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working as an Ophthalmic Technician for an ophthalmology office or optometry office. Must be proficient in optometric medical terminology, pretesting (i.e: auto refractor, NCT, lensometer, visual acuity)
Additional in-lane experience such as refracting, confrontation fields, EOM's slit-lamp, pupillary response can will bring the pay range to the upper end.
Candidate must be proficient in contact lens brands, powers, modalities.
Efficiency and the ability to multitask are a must.
Any experience in glasses sales, measurements, terminology, lens and frame dispensing and adjusting can increase the range of pay.
