Provide engineering support for complex customer networks.  This position serves as an advisor to the sales teams, customers and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical, scientific or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation and utilization of organization products and or services. Key areas of expertise include AT&T Mobility data services for fixed wireless (LTE, 5G, FirstNet), AVPN/MPLS service, firewalls (ideally Fortinet), and IPSec tunnel technologies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
•    Required an understanding of AT&T mobility data services.
•    Responsibility includes design and configuration support for customer network infrastructures.
•    Proposes changes in products and or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales.
o    Review changes to the existing network to determine risk
o    Provide technical expertise to plan change activities
•    Prepare operating manuals, references or training materials for customers and the sales force.
•    Responsibility will include design, configuration and implementation support for customer network infrastructures.
•    Requires technical network knowledge as well as the ability to work with sales to resolve problems or respond to special customer requests.
o    Assist account teams in reviewing incidents and root cause analysis
o    Provide technical expertise for chronic issues
o    Regularly review and identify opportunities for improvements
•    Requires ability to perform Technical Project Management
o    Coordinate software updates for complex changes to network infrastructure
o    Create and update design documentation
o    Coordinate testing activities for projects between multiple vendors
o    Review Business continuity and disaster recovery plans.  Schedule and execute DR exercises
o    Plan for new products and services
•    Provide Security Oversight for existing customer network
o    Patch update management
o    Vulnerability scan review and remediation
o    Monitor and track vulnerability notifications from vendors and security agencies
