Lonza Tampa Is looking to hire a Packaging Services Specialist to support and assist the packaging group by providing support for the activities associated with the execution of a projects according to the scheduled timeline. This is to be achieved by overseeing a range of activities including completing handwritten data as needed. The incumbent will be in a position to provide SME support with customer enquiries and providing relevant project status updates as available. This support may require presence at face-to face meetings, teleconferences or emails as applicable. Additionally there will be the requirement to create documents as needed (For example batch records, specifications, memoranda).Execute label production requirements per Batch Record request for Packaging and Labeling processes in compliance with cGMP guidelines. This will require on time and neat documentation during the execution to assure compliance. Responsible for the performance of printing packaging label materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain quality in all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
• Responsible for the performance of printing packaging label materials.
• Disseminate project information internally, identify issues that may impact project completion/success and communicate it to the Lonza PM.
• Take notes of action items from project meetings and conference calls. Facilitate communication and information flow between departments
• Client interaction through conference calls and written communication
• Creation of controlled documents and handover to Quality through DMS system, documents include master packaging batch records, specifications for packaging components and labels and SOPs
• Provide support to the Packaging Group, Program Management, QA, Warehouse and Facility operations by complying with company and FDA cGMP requirements.
• Creation of randomization documents and handover to Quality
• Assist in maintaining department specific databases
• Monitor incoming products and facilitate their approval through to release status
• Entering details into and obtaining information from SAP, electronic inventory system
• Interface with Supply Chain and assist in the maintenance of the master packaging schedule
• Requesting for Issuance of controlled documents
• Requesting dispensing of components used for upcoming packaging jobs
• Execute label production/printing in accordance with established packaging schedule
• Manage, organize, and communicate the status of label requests and production in accordance with project timelines and project stakeholders
• Assist in staging of labels for production requirements.
• Assist in all other tasks as deemed appropriate by Packaging Management
• Adhere to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclear
• Promptly report identified Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possible
Key Requirements:
• HS Diploma/GED, Undergraduate degree (preferred)
• Working experience preferably in a pharmaceutical GMP environment
• Must be able to write legibly and communicate effectively
• Solid experience with MS Office, Word, Excel Power Point ( Intermediate- Advanced level)
• Be competent in the use of Prisym 360 label design and production software
• Working experience with SAP (preferred)
