Senior Engagement Coordinator Core One | macdill air force base, Florida 33608 Unspecified Top Secret Unspecified Core One seeks a Senior Engagement Coordinator to provide Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) with educational support services. This position is contingent on contract award .
This position requires a current TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility .
Primary Responsibilities
• Oversee, track, guide, and report JSOU's engagement events, activities, tasks, and products.
• Coordinate and communicate JSOU's engagement plan, messages, events, activities, and products with members of SOF Enterprise and general industry (through various delivery methods such as All Partners Access Network (APAN), Email, and Social Media) as directed and appropriate.
• Coordinate with SOF Chairs, JSOU Liaison Officers (LNOs), and senior representatives at the Service PME and JPME colleges to ensure a support plan is developed and executed.
• Plan, coordinate, and host in-resident and virtual engagement events and activites.
• Coordinate with MacDill resident Combatant Commands (COCOMS) on mutual site visits, report activities current and future to JSOU Vice President (synch meeting) Command Protocol, SOCO (communications and synch), and as necessary, other JSOU and HQ USSOCOM entities.
• Assist with JSOU strategic engagement plan.
• Coordinate with SMEs across the USSOCOM enterprise, military and civilian academic partners, and military industry to conduct topical discussions appropriate for special operations learning content and talent for proposed engagement events, activities, and products.
• Assist strategic communications program to develop or curate social media content.
• Ensure the quality of agendas invitations, presentations, correspondence, and social media releases for assigned engagement events, activities, and products.
• Research, author, and present academic products associated with assigned events and activities.
• Prepare and present unclassified and classified briefings up to and including TS/SCI material for assigned engagement events.
• Establish and maintain an electronic file/binder for associated plans, contacts, checklist, records, products, and costs for assigned engagement events and activities.
• Author, edit, and review agendas and facilitate collaborative meetings in a physical or virtual environment(s) to coordinate applicable processes and procedures supporting JSOU engagement events and activities.
• Collect, analyze, and assess data to recommend resource requirements to support JSOU engagement events, activities, and products to achieve increased quality and successful outcomes.
• Conduct, collect, and catalog after action reviews and report on JSOU's engagement events, activities, and products to make recommendations for improving efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
• Assist and participate in assigned meetings, events, and activities recording and reporting information, tasks, and queries as directed and appropriate.
• Coordinate logistics and support services with internal and external entities in support of university engagements.
Required Skills
• MA/MS Degree in any field.
• 10 years' DoD experience (military, civilian, or Government contractor).
• 5 years Major Command or higher directorate level action officer (Military, Civilian, or Contractor).
• Ability to independently track and guide concurrent projects, tasks, and activities.
• Experience working remotely and with collaborative tools (e.g., MS Office 365; including Teams) Video conferencing platforms (e.g., Adobe Connect, Blue Jeans, Zoom, and/or Teams), and Social Media (e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and ).
• Exceptional written and oral communication and the ability to confidently present and facilitate learning groups and meetings.
• Ability to operate a government owned vehicle up to small bus or civilian passenger vans (15 pax).
• Ability to move parcels in excess of 40 lbs.
