Test and Measurement Specialist Core One | macdill air force base, Florida 33608 Unspecified Top Secret Unspecified Core One seeks a Test and Measurement Specialist to provide Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) with educational support services. This position is contingent on contract award .
This position requires a current TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility .
Primary Responsibilities
• Assess educational events including those with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) content.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the creation of assessment strategies, instruments, and scoring tools in order to develop program and course learning outcomes that align with JSOU institutional outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the creation of assessment strategies, instruments, and scoring tools to measure student achievement of institutional, program, and course learning outcomes.
• Support university curriculum development teams in developing objective assessments and other instruments to measure student achievement and the adequacy of instruction.
• Track the progress for outcome assessments and the ongoing assessments of academic programs.
• Facilitate the outcomes assessments of non-academic programs and the institution's operations.
• Support student learning assessment-related activities and the implementation of institutional research and assessment projects.
• Prepare documentation for course and program assessments for use in course and program periodic reviews.
• Review learning outcomes for all educational events and subject-matter content, text, and other course materials in order to write, reword, and revise assessments and other measurement instruments as necessary.
• Conduct studies and analyzes results in determining the reliability and validity of occupational standards and assessments.
• Conduct statistical studies of assessment results and individual test items and provide recommendations.
• Develop recommendations based on study results related to admissions policy, coverage of courses, instructional methods, student counseling, or other aspects of the education/training programs where test results may be significant as guidelines for action.
Required Skills
• MA/MS required in Adult education or related field.
• 2 years' statistics or related experience.
• 2 years' experience operating Microsoft Office Suite.
