Job Description
Assurance Manager, Data Scientist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Tampa, FL. Focus on standardizing, automating, delivering tools and processes, and exploring emerging technologies that drive efficiency. Implement solutions that impact efficiency and effectiveness of our technology functions. Focus on process improvement, transformation, effective use of innovative technology and data & analytics, and leveraging alternative delivery solutions. Identify and prioritize emerging technologies to get the most out of investments.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, such as k-NN, GBM, Neural Networks Naive Bayes, SVM, and Decision Forests;
• Utilizing programming skills and knowledge on how to write models which can be directly used in production as part of a large-scale system;
• Applying statistical modelling, algorithms, data mining and machine learning algorithms problem solving; and,
• Utilizing and applying knowledge commonly used data science packages including Spark, Pandas, SciPy, and Numpy.
Travel up to 60% is required.
