Summary
The Life Science Group is developing new reagents and platform to support the need of the Cell and Gene therapy market- supporting large, small biopharma and academic labs with a full line of products designed to speed clinical research. Scaling -up or -out cell therapy manufacturing represents a major challenge for the industry and our goal is to embark on that challenge by developing new innovative solutions to address the needs of cell therapy manufacturing.
Responsibilities
• Lead our new cell manufacturing solution through commercialization, including voice of customer research, definition of customer and product requirements, set up collaborations, value proposition development, product launch and sales training
• Develop service strategies and guide planning for positioning, growth and evolution of the service line platform.
• Serve as service line champion with internal stakeholders. Maintain close interaction with the sales organization through training and participation in the sales process, including customer visits, pricing tactics, and strategic customer support.
• Analyze data from market trends, customer requirements, competitive strategy, and identify opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and industry opinion leaders.
• Successfully build relationships with functional and business stakeholders (sales, client services, operations and others) in a matrixed environment; achieve business results through team work.
• Develop competitive positioning and initiate marketing campaigns, in collaboration with Content Managers, to support sales efforts, differentiation and new service launches.
• Identify and track service line sales targets and collaborate on lead generation programs to support commercial efforts.
• Manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables.

Nature And Scope
Service Line Managers drive the success of their assigned service lines through team-based interactions with internal subject matter experts, functions and business leaders across the PSG matrix. Service Line managers demonstrate strong business acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making. CTD Service Line managers engage in direct customer interaction through voice-of-the customer research, presentations and at industry meetings. Up to 15% Travel (international and domestic) is required.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences or similar discipline.
• Knowledge of the Bioscience industry and/or biological sciences. Expanded knowledge base in protein expression highly preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar product management, marketing, or business development role including experience in product line management, strategic marketing, and operations management.
• Experience in cellular or gene therapy is preferred
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including international
• Experience with financial modeling or data analysis skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a highly-collaborative cross-functional team
• Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, relationship building, project management and planning/prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to identify strategic opportunities, set aggressive objectives, and drive key business priorities.
• Willingness to do what needs to be done in a dynamic environment
• Experience developing and presentation materials for sales training, customer interaction and executive presentations.
• Project Management certification/training is a plus
