Title : Office Manager
Overview : The Office Manager role will support Praxis in a multitude of ways that are typical of a rapidly growing start-up organization.
Reports to : COO
Responsibilities
General
o Support internal activities including but not limited to office/facility management, fulfillment, finance/accounting, quality/regulatory and sales & marketing
o Create agendas, record meeting minutes, and follow-up on action items as needed
Office/Facility Management
o Ensure office and warehouse are kept clean, organized, and appropriately stocked
o Coordinate facility maintenance and manage IT troubleshooting
o Investigate, brainstorm and resolve (or propose resolutions for) internal process issues
o Manage front-desk, answer main phone line, greet visitors, and support meetings
· Fulfillment
o Coordinate incoming shipping activities (LTL and parcel)
o Manage delivery logistics domestically and internationally for all sales orders
o Support importing and exporting activities
Finance/Accounting
o Support bookkeeping in Quickbooks including creating invoices & POs, paying bills, categorizing expenses with receipts, and managing accounts receivable management
o Generate customized reports in Quickbooks and Salesforce for scheduled distribution and ad-hoc analysis
HR
o Facilitate efforts to recruit new employees including but not limited to drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting screening calls
o Support the on-boarding process (laptop, account logins, training, office supplies)
Characteristics :
· Can-do attitude—willing to roll-up-sleeves and tackle new problems
· High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
· Exceptional organization skills
· Self-sufficient and able to work and make decisions independently
· Experience in medical device industry is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
