Progressive Care Unit - Medical
RN - Registered Nurse Daily Role:
• Registered Nurse is responsible for the daily management and direction of nursing care
• RN's supervise and evaluate all direct resident care provided and initiate appropriate action as necessary
• Follow established performance standards and implement facility policies and procedures
• Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary relating to the residents' treatment needs
• Provide clinical supervision to nursing assistants
• Consistently work cooperatively with residents, nursing personnel, physicians, families, consultant personnel, community agencies and ancillary personnel
