Summary: The Business/Brand Analyst will support the General Manager in developing the vision and business strategies for Fanatics’ College. This requires cross functional collaboration to gather, aggregate and analyze the data - providing valuable insight for the business. This position will serve as the central point of contact for the wholesale channel and ensuring proactive execution of licensed rights, business plans and strategy.
Responsibilities • Perform ad-hoc, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and business reviews.
• Analyze and interpret data trends, variance analysis and articulate these to team members.
• Work closely with Planning and Finance on minimum guarantee tracking.
• Perform revenue, cost and margin analysis.
• Coordinate across departments to execute inventory management strategy around in-season programs, replenishment, sell-off/close-out.
• Assist in facilitating all league requests. Ensures league business obligations are fulfilled above and beyond contractual requirements.
• Understand and ensure execution of the business calendar – key dates, hand-offs, deliverables, etc.
• Work closely with Sales Operations to ensure timely program launches, deliveries, and performance.
• Chair weekly in-season cross-department meetings
Requirements • Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+BS/BA degree in marketing, business, or related field of study
• Experience in licensed sports, working directly with the Leagues and Teams
• Proven ability to evaluate new business ideas to meet brand goals and objectives
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills (oral, presentation, written)Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
