Full Job Description Kuhn Raslavich, P.A. is a law firm representing property owners, consumers, and contractors in Florida and Colorado. We handle a wide variety of insurance disputes including windstorm, hurricane, hail, water, plumbing, fire, and mold claims, as well as personal injury and consumer protection matters.
Kuhn Raslavich P.A. is seeking a bookkeeper/accounts receivable specialist to assist in the management of day-to day finances, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, employee benefits, and human resources. The bookkeeper/accounts receivable specialist supports all four offices. Responsibilities
• Maintain Florida Bar requirements with respect to trust accounting and banking
• Point of contact for vendors; responsible for tracking and paying of invoices
• Prepare account statements using the firm’s case management software
• Analyze incoming costs and allocate to respective files
• Maintain internal bookkeeping, deposits, and transfers (general bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online)
• Management of accounts receivables
• Prepare bi-monthly commission reports
• Reconcile and audit accounts
• Oversee the processing of payroll on a semimonthly basis using ADP Run
• Act as firm liaison to employee benefits manager
• Assists with Onboarding/Offboarding of employees
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of two (2) years accounting experience
• Experience with:
• ADP Run
• Microsoft Office suite (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• QuickBooks Online
Preferred Experience
• Florida Bar Trust Accounting requirements and best practices;
• Florida Bar Closing Statement requirements and best practices;
