Full Job Description Position Purpose
The Client Services Coordinator supports both our domestic and international distribution departments. The position handles many administrative responsibilities to import ocular tissue from partner eye banks on the front end and data input and documentation on the distribution back-end.
Schedule is M-F, 9-6 with occasional early nights and weekends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Increase domestic and international distribution of ocular tissue
• Maintain positive business relationships with LEITR eye bank partners to enhance tissue supply
• Obtain, enter data, and create records for importing tissue
• Obtain, enter data, and document tissue offers
• Ensure all tissue for distribution has been approved/signed-off by Medical Designee
• Ensure that all serological tests are completed and confirmed prior to tissue distribution
• Prepare tissue and documentation for shipment
• Ensure tissue, medical information and all appropriate materials are within the shipping container following LEITR policies and EBAA and FDA regulatory standards
• Package and arrange for shipment of tissue via airlines, courier, door-to door carrier, etc.
• Knowledgeable of LEITR policies and EBAA and FDA regulatory standards
• Disposition tissue records in tissue management software
• Data entry of recipient information in tissue management software
Education and Experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team - team player
• Good computer skills, including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to cope with issues pertaining to death
• Knowledge of medical and ophthalmic terminology preferred
• Bilingual preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
