Full Job Description Veterinary Receptionist desired for independent Veterinary Hospital in the North Hillsborough County area. We are a practice that fosters a strong sense of commitment to our clients and the well-being of their beloved pets. We focus on providing excellent medical and surgical care- no boarding/grooming etc.
The applicant should have outstanding work ethics, be extremely reliable and punctual, and be able to maintain a friendly, professional and positive attitude while multi-tasking. Applicants are expected to share our desire to provide outstanding care, and be able to effectively communicate this to our clientele both by phone and in person. Experience preferred, but we will consider training the right long-term applicant with strong customer service experience (serving, office, etc.)
Skill Expectations:
-Unfailingly positive attitude
-Basic computer literacy
-Effective spoken and written communication skills
-Ability to prioritize tasks with strong organizational skills
-Physically, be able to lift up to 4o lbs. (prescrition pet diets), work flexible workdays of up to 9+ hours, and rotate 1/2 day Saturdays, have the ability to sit/stand/bend frequently
-Perform all required duties in a courteous, professional and respectful manner
-Have the ability to learn and adapt to our healthcare protocols, and communicate them effectively to clients.'
