Summary
Coral, a CRH Company, is a glass and metal industry leader, and we are looking for individuals to join our growth! We are happy to be adding a Material Handler for our Shipping/Receiving Department at our Tampa, FL location. This location is apart of our architectural division.
This position will be responsible for pulling aluminum extrusions by order and boxing for shipment to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Pull metal extrusions from material racks (some pieces are 24 feet in length)
• Box stock lengths (aluminum frames/extrusions) by hand
• Read and process work orders by due dates provided
• Complete scheduled shipments daily
• Ensure the machines and tools are in good working order, and perform daily cleaning in work area
• Occasionally operate a forklift, sidewinder, or scissor lift to move materials
Requirements
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Must have basic computer knowledge to enter data
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or with a team
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand, lift, bend, twist, walk, push, pull, and reach frequently
• Must be able to perform heavy work, exerting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
• Must be able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled (protection from the weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes)
• Must have close visual acuity to perform assigned tasks
