Kolter Solutions is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Imaging Systems
Location: Tampa, FL-Onsite 4 days/week, Remote 1 day
Position Highlights
The Manager of Enterprise Imaging and Ancillary Support oversees all activity related to the assessment, planning, implementation, post-delivery, and support of all Enterprise Imaging and Ancillary Support clinical applications, including but not limited to: Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Cardiopulmonary, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and other areas as assigned. The incumbent will work closely with key administrative, operational and clinical departments, and IT functional units to ensure high quality solutions delivery and ongoing support. S/he will serve as an internal consultant to the management and leadership and actively contribute to the formation and execution of the overall technology vision.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership and planning for Enterprise Imaging and Ancillary Support clinical software applications. Some projects/solutions include but not limited to: Client PACS, MagView, PowerScribe 360, Veriphy, HIIQ, Mosaiq, Digisonics, RadNet, SurgiNet, PharmNet, LifeIMAGE, MedMined, Vitals Link, Vestigo, TBRHIO/Resonance, etc.
Plans and develops service level agreements (SLAs) with key customers.
Establishes standards and procedures for analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation; establishes standards for the ongoing maintenance of production systems to ensure timely resolution of problems and request for enhancements, reliable performance, appropriate change management, accurate documentation, and security; establishes standards to ensure communication to the customer regarding status of problems, enhancements, and development projects occurs in a consistent manner and on a regular basis.
Provides assistance to Director of Clinical Systems in the development of project timetables for proposed projects; assigns appropriate staff members to projects, ensuring teams are composed of individuals with appropriate skills and expertise.
Prepares and administers department budget; negotiates contracts with external consultants/vendors.
Creates business plans to support functional requirements and delivery targets. Works closely with customers and vendors to provide and implement designs that meet customer needs.
Documents and reviews project requests and specifications.
Supports leadership in the definition and attainment of organizational goals.
Recruits, manages, and develops group of clinical systems analysts and other support staff who provide analytic, planning, and consulting services to internal customers.
Serves as primary resource, expert consultant, or liaison to senior leadership and staff on major and complex program-wide EHR initiatives
Leads large-scale analytic consulting, planning, development/design, or process redesign/improvement efforts designed to facilitate attainment of key organizational objectives.
Credentials and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum five (5) years' experience in technology operations with information system support, design, implementation, and development of solutions at both the functional and technical layers for an entire organization; with demonstrated progressive experience in leading highly complex software delivery projects is required.
* -OR- Associate's degree with an additional four (4) years of relevant technology experience plus the five (5) years (for a total of 9 years) experience may be considered "in lieu " of a Bachelors degree.
* -OR- High School Diploma with an additional five (5) years of relevant technology experience plus the five (5) years (for a total of 10 years) experience may be considered "in lieu " of a Bachelors degree.
Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience as supervisor, team lead, manager or above is required.
Preferred
Master's Degree
CIIP, ABII, CPAS
Providing support of Enterprise Imaging and various Ancillary clinical applications with a healthcare entity is preferred.
Demonstrated experience with effectively driving PACS/Imaging Systems related strategies, implementation and support with a focus on work-flow efficiencies and user experience.
Three (3) years of healthcare IT leadership role is strongly preferred.
