Vice President, Population Health & Clinical Operations
Position Purpose: In partnership with the RVP of Population Health Programs and Clinical Performance, serve as a key stakeholder, decision maker, and catalyst, for clinical innovation, best practice identification, and evaluation , to achieve the Quadruple Aim and drive Centene’s Population Health mission.
• Partner with clinical leaders across Enterprise to collaborate on clinical innovation and identify best practices to support population health program strategy and program portfolio goals
• Ensure that clinical best practices, innovation and established enterprise programs are demonstrated in our population health programs
• Understand the broad healthcare landscape to look for key drivers & opportunities for innovative models targeting the Quadruple Aim
• Understand the unique community health needs and the attributes of the populations served to drive development of programs and service
• Partner with the HCA team on clinical initiatives analytics, population health insights to drive improve data science models, insights to understand areas achieving best practice outcome improvement, and identify impactable opportunities across the populations, product lines and established programs.
• Extend our insights externally understanding the landscape in population health innovations and public health standards to drive improvement aligned to competition and government customer expectations
• Lead large groups of cross functional leaders in collaboration, driving vision, engagement, developing people and teams, fostering transparency
• Influence change and drive performance through a matrix reporting relationship
• Provides direction and assumes accountability for effective and efficient operation of all market level population health strategies
Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience. 3 of leadership experience. Master's Degree preferred.
License/Certification: Current state RN license or MD preferred.
