The Salvation Army , an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has openings for Kettle Workers for the Kentucky - Tennessee Territory, located in, Owensboro, Kentucky.
Job Summary:
Rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations. The result is to receive monetary donations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
No education or experience requirements.
Certifications/Licenses:
A Valid Driver’s License.
Materials and Equipment:
Tripod, Kettle and Sign Bell.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Bell Program, ability to follow instructions with limited supervision, ability to relate to the public, ability to abide by required dress code and ability to ring small hand bell and responsible for the bell and apron.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet attendance requirements and ability to stand in one location for extended periods in outside weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by state law.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed outside in a wide variety of weather conditions. Dressing appropriately is important for comfort.
