PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - ED OBSERVATION - ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL SOUTH
The Patient Care Tech is responsible to perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, responsible for all inventory and equipment and performs other duties as assigned. Required experience includes 1 year unlicensed care (Ambulatory Only) and six months of Patient Care Technician or Emergency Medical Technician experience in lieu of technical training. 1 year of hospital experience is preferred. Required certification and licensure includes CNA certification in lieu of technical education for SJB & Ambulatory only. All preferred certification and licensure except for BLS is for SJB and Ambulatory only.
