Full Job Description Perform, control, and create an IT internal audit cycle and control management over operations effectiveness, Determine IT internal audit scope and develop annual plans. Analyze and evaluate IT documentation, reports Works with IT Management to create and maintain policy standards and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate IT documentation, reports, data flowcharts, etc.
• Meet with IT management and select members of each business department or group and acquire thorough knowledge of each unit's operations and procedures as it pertains to the IT department procedures.
• Work with IT management to create and maintain IT Policies / Standards Documentation.
• Work closely with IT Operations Manager and IT counterparts but needs to be able to work independently and lead meetings to manage documentation efforts and gain consensus for approvals.
• Is highly collaborative and able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Works to coordinate, schedule, and document disaster recovery procedures.
• Work with / manages Asset Management program and produces consistent periodic reporting.
• Coordinates periodic internal audits and reporting with IT/IS.
• Maintains knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting area of expertise.
• Attends educational events that will increase professional knowledge and be otherwise beneficial to the Credit Union. Completes annual BSA/AML Compliance Training and understands employee’s role in maintaining an effective BSA/AML compliance program, and completes FACT Act Red Flag training.
Minimum Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field. (A comparable combination of work experience (3 to 5 years) and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
• Experience in regulatory and compliance and/or IT Operations technologies; experience with Wiki and/or SharePoint sites.
• Tech writer with 2 year’s experience in documenting Information Technology standards and procedures.
• Experience with ITSM,ITIL, or PM processes preferred.
• Must be proficient in technical writing and editing content using MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Adobe.
• Must have the ability to distill complex topics and conversations into clear and concise meaning across multiple audiences.
• Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized. Able to analyze and resolve difficult problems and situations.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures pertinent to the job.
• Good knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities.
• Good knowledge and understanding of all Credit Union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact professionally and effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators. Able to influence others through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
• Works independently with general supervision.
