Job Description
Scope of Position
• Work collaboratively with the Rapid Response Project Coordinator, employer, and other members of the CareerSource team
• Provide high quality customer service to dislocated workers
• Support dislocated workers with an array of direct services in an effort to reach their career readiness and employment goals
• Work under the Business Service Team for hiring coordination of dislocated workers
Essential Functions
• Offer one-on-one sessions with dislocated workers to educate them on CareerSource services and how to create an account and navigate Employ Florida
• Support any specialized service attached to each Rapid Response
• Review all WARN Notices with the Rapid Response Project Coordinator
• Enter all required services into Employ Florida
• Understand all relatable guidelines pertaining Rapid Response activities
• Assist participants with completing all WIOA registration paperwork
• Provide referrals to dislocated workers related to upskilling, job orders and other opportunities that are available
• Make outreach calls to dislocated workers who have not received services and are nearing their 26 weeks of receiving Unemployment Compensation
• Meet performance criteria established for CareerSource Rapid Response services
• Ensure exemplary service is provided to employees affected by dislocation
• Track data for every service provided and utilize the state system of record, Employ Florida, as well as the team-wide reporting platform
• Implement project management skills, tools, and methods
• Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
Education and Experience Requirements
• Customer service experience
• Interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible with scheduling and workload changes
• Must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Must be comfortable with local travel
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required
Compensation and Hours
Salary Range: $45,000.00 (minimum) DOE (Depends on Experience) 401K, Dental, Holidays, Life Insurance, Medical, Tuition Assistance, Vacation, Vision Other Benefits: Not Available Full or Part Time: Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Duration: Over 150 Days Type of Job: Regular
