Summary
A DevSecOps Technologist provides generalized support of the DevSecOps process, ensuring developed pipelines are operational as well as evolving the pipeline to meet emerging requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Assist software developers in enhancing existing code baseline to support DevSecOps pipelines
• Enhance pipelines to support new and existing technologies and methodologies
• Support deployment efforts of web applications and Docker containers
• Support improvements to established pipelines and improve automation using orchestration tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps
• Assist development activities to improve security and address critical functional defects
• Collaborate with security related roles within organization to generate required artifacts, develop documentation, and completion of security related checklists, such as STIGs
• Support configuration efforts of pipeline tool suites, such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Jira, and Confluence
Qualifications & Education Requirements
• B S degree required; B S degree in Engineering or Information Technology related field preferred
• Knowledgeable in common web development technologies, such as CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
• Basic understanding of relational databases and associated products, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL
• Proficient using Git
• Practical experience in Agile Software Development environments preferred
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
Work Environment
• Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility
• Must be able to work overtime, on and off-shifts as required
Physical Demands

• Employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, in person, in meetings and by telephone
• Manual dexterity to operate computers or other standard office equipment; and reach with hands and arms
• Able to support rack mounted equipment (up to 7 feet off the ground)
