KPMG is currently seeking a Engagement Set-Up Coordinator to join our Business Tax Services organization.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver support to a new and fast-growing team in areas of client acceptance and set-up
• Provide guidance to engagement teams of risk procedures and direct teams toward the appropriate risk personnel in each situation
• Serve as point person for special projects and maintain spreadsheets used for tracking life cycle of client/engagement setup in real time
• Coordinate background checks and liaise with engagements teams to ensure data quality
• Serve as a subject matter resource for all risk management systems
• Submit conflict check/independence clearance requests and client acceptances daily to ensure a quick turnaround
Qualifications:
• Minimum three years of administrative and data management experience; preferably within a professional services environment
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player when performing group work and liaise with all levels of personnel within the firm
• Strong internet research skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work overtime as needed
