Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center is a searching for a heart failure cardiologist to join a growing program for our advanced heart failure and future DT LVAD program based in Fort Worth. Our employed opportunities include significant practice support, strong salary and benefits packages, relocation assistance and malpractice insurance with 1M – 3M limits and no tail coverage required.
Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and in Advanced Heart Failure. This position requires evaluation, assessment, pre and post management of LVAD patients, and active participation in the shock team with management of temporary mechanical support device including ECMO, IABP, protek and Impella. The outpatient clinic includes a dedicated geneticist as well as infiltrative and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy sub-specialty clinics. Our heart failure team works in close conjunction with our transplant center for consideration and evaluation of potential transplant recipients including participation in transplant selection committee. Prior research experience is a plus but not required. For this growing program we are looking for an openness to participate in local outreach and a team approach to practice.
