Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX who is seeking a Team Lead for Application Development. Summary: The Team Lead is a subject matter expert in the technology used to address business problems and opportunities. The Team Lead works closely with the software engineering team, infrastructure, QA, and product organization to move solutions from idea to market. He or she works closely with the architects to evaluate vendor systems, develop frameworks, and champion standards-based solutions. The Team Lead ensures solutions implemented are scalable and instrumented with appropriate monitoring and alerting and will guide the team in production support as needed. The Team Lead assists in hiring, developing, coaching and mentoring technology team members developing a high performing team with strong level of accountability. The Team Lead works closely with the Director of Application Development to assign work, identify gaps, evaluate the performance of and promote a culture of trust and software engineering excellence. Duties of the Team Lead for Application Development:
• Team Lead for Application Development will analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operation system environments, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
• Maintain responsibility for the design documentation for a project
• Analyze software design requirements to determine feasibility, time, and compatibility with current solutions and architectural standards
• As a Team Lead for Application Development, you will lead and mentor other developers within the team on ownership of products/problems/resource and technology solutions; Provide constructive feedback to developers in a positive manner
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required; advanced degree(s) preferred
• Senior-level software engineer (7+ years' ever increasing technical responsibility in multiple Microsoft stack software engineering shops such as .NET Framework, SQL Server development and tools, MSMQ, MVC, Web Services, HTML 5.0, AngularJS, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience developing web front ends using JavaScript, Angular, Node, CSS, NativeScript, TypeScript, and other related technologies including Microservice based architecture
• Familiarity with API management tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft networking, servers, and WAN infrastructure
• Experience with automation using Selenium C#
• Experience with Azure and/or other Cloud technologies; Experience with Azure migration initiatives
• Working knowledge developing to APIs and RPCs

• Structured methods of conducting the design and analysis phases of the development cycle (object oriented analysis, object oriented design, etc.)
