Robert Half Strategic Accounts is currently staffing a Mortgage Specialist position for one of our Fortune 500 financial clients in Owensboro, KY. If you live within an hour of Owensboro, have an eye for detail, and great communication skills, this job could be perfect for you!
In this fully remote role, your primary responsibilities will include receiving and purchasing loans from third party lenders. You'll be reviewing loan files to ensure proper compliance with Bank and Federal rules and regulations, and communicating with lenders to resolve outstanding items. Basic knowledge of loan processing, closing, and funding procedures is a plus, but training will be provided regardless of experience. This is a contract (temporary) opportunity based out of Owensboro, KY.
Location: Remote, but candidates must be local to Owensboro, KY for equipment pick-up and training
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm
Compensation: $13.00-$13.30/hr
Duties include:
• Receive and purchase loans from third party lenders
• Review loans to ensure compliance with bank regulatory and investor guidelines
• Communicate with lenders, staff, title companies, etc. to resolve outstanding items
• Deliver loan packages in a timely manner to Secondary/Pooling Unit for sale on Secondary market
• Package and submit government loan files to HUD/VA for insurance/guaranty
• Prepare required disclosure information within designated time frames ensuring compliance with all regulations
